  • Farhana Hossain
    Moderator
    Farhana Hossain is a Project Lead with Solid Waste Management Services at the City and a Co-Program Manager of TOnow’s Communications Pillar. She leads transformative, cross‑divisional projects that support the City’s circular economy goals and helps to advance internal engagement and culture across the Toronto Public Service through TOnow. Farhana is also a mother, author, and artist, and the founder of Shakti Art Studios, where she supports survivors of loss in finding resilience and empowerment through art.
  • Jemmie Robles
    Moderator
    Jemmie Robles is a Senior Manager at GovTechON, leading the Technology and Society Unit, where she focuses on culture, engagement and the human side of innovation. As Chair for Women in Government and an empowerment coach, she champions spaces where women can build confidence, grow their capabilities and step into leadership with authenticity and impact.

    Panelist
    Cari Covent is Global Chief Data and AI Advisor at Microsoft Corporation and a nationally recognized leader in artificial intelligence, data strategy, and enterprise digital transformation. She advises Fortune 500 executives and Boards on scaling responsible AI to drive productivity, innovation, and sustainable growth.

    Cari is Founder & CEO of 2Cs.ai, where she has helped private sector and public sector organizations implement trusted, human-centered AI strategies. She also serves as Director at Queen’s University Smith School of Business and Scale AI, and as an Advisor to Canada’s Federal AI Strategy Task Force. Previously, she led Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technology at Canadian Tire Corporation, advancing enterprise-wide AI enabled transformation at national scale.
  • Carlene McCubbin
    Panelist
    Carlene McCubbin is Associate Vice President, Agentic AI Implementation, at Info-Tech Research Group. She leads the Agentic AI program and product portfolio, shaping the strategy, design, and delivery of agentic AI services which help IT organizations move from experimentation to measurable operational impact. Her focus is building scalable offerings that translate AI strategy into practical execution and real capacity gains.

    Carlene is also a recognized voice on Adaptive IT Leadership and the race to develop talent in the Intelligence Era. She works with CIOs and IT leaders to modernize operating models, embed learning into the flow of work, and build teams that can adapt as automation accelerates. Her work connects two critical priorities: expanding capacity through AI and strengthening the human adaptability required to lead through change.
  • Maud Murray

    Maud Murray is a transformative public sector executive and currently serves as Ontario’s first Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Red Tape Reduction. With a distinguished career spanning law, policy, and senior government leadership, Maud is spearheading innovative reforms that are modernizing regulatory frameworks, streamlining government processes, reducing administrative burden, and unlocking opportunities for economic growth across the province. 
      
    She is helping Ontario build a more agile, responsive, and business-friendly public service. Maud is widely recognized for her strategic legal acumen, collaborative approach to problem-solving, and ability to translate bold ideas into measurable impact. 
      
    An immigrant to Canada, Maud’s personal and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to public service excellence, resilience, and purpose driven leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree in Literature, a Juris Doctor, and is a member of the Ontario Bar. Maud was appointed King's Counsel of Ontario and awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal.  
  • Sonia Brar

    Sonia is a visionary executive who thrives in large-scale technology transformations. Sonia has held senior executive roles in Telecommunications, Media and now in the Public Sector. She is people and purpose driven, building diverse and high-performing teams that are empowered to innovate on ambitious initiatives.

    In 2020, Sonia won Innovator of the Year, by Women in Communications and Technology (WCT) for her leadership excellence, the 2024 Toronto ORBIE Award for Large Enterprise transformation, the 2025 National ORBIE Award for Non-Profit/Public Sector and is most recently the 2026 recipient of WCT’s Women of the Year Award.
  • Dara Renton
    Panelist
    Dara Renton is a digital government leader who served as Director of Product at the Ontario Digital Service before moving to the Government of Ontario's Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, where she now leads AI adoption across ministry teams — from helping Ontarians navigate career pathways and labour market information to deploying agentic AI that turns weeks of manual research and data gathering into minutes.

    As Chair of the Ontario Public Service Product Management Community of Practice, Dara builds cross-government capacity for AI-enabled product development, moving teams from experimentation to working prototypes and operational impact.

    With over 20 years in digital product leadership, her public-facing work includes Ontario.ca digital strategy and the province's COVID-era digital tools. She has spoken at FWD50, Canada's leading conference on digital government and public sector innovation.
  • Zepporah Toh
    Panelist
    Zepporah Toh is a senior public sector leader with over 20 years of experience delivering large-scale digital transformation across the Government of Canada. She has held leadership roles at Public Services and Procurement Canada, Shared Services Canada, the Department of National Defence, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, and Global Affairs Canada.

    As Senior Director of PSPC’s Artificial Intelligence Delivery Excellence (AIDE) Program and Enterprise Cloud Services, Zepporah leads the adoption of artificial intelligence, cloud modernization, and intelligent automation to improve service delivery and operational performance. She holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and has completed advanced training in project management and strategic IT leadership, including AI strategy at MIT.
  • Sara Luther

    Sara is the founder of Forwardworking, a consulting company dedicated to igniting Respect as a core value, sustainable strategy, and daily experience. 

    Forwardworking’s expertise lies in aligning behaviours, practices, and systems to enhance critical organizational relationships. Our services span conferences, retreats, leadership and professional development programs, policy rebuilds, conflict resolution, and coaching.
