Celebrating Pride and Inclusion with the OPS Pride Network

The OPS Pride Network (OPN) is helping build a more inclusive and connected Ontario Public Service by supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ employees and allies through community, learning and initiatives that foster belonging year-round. Through its programs and volunteer leadership, OPN plays a key role in advancing inclusion, helping ensure every employee can bring their full, authentic self to work.

• Pride in action: OPN marked the start of Pride season with a hybrid flag raising and Pride social in Toronto on June 4, celebrating community and visibility across the OPS.
• Breaking new ground: Last fall, OPN hosted the first of many OPS drag shows, which was a vibrant and exciting event that encourages OPN members to show up and support each other as their whole selves.
• Ongoing impact: From the Trans Support Network, BiPan Network and Positive Space Program to the Gemini peer connection program, book club and monthly Speaker Series, OPN continues to create safe spaces, build awareness and strengthen connections across the OPS.

Get involved: If you are in the GTA, join OPN to celebrate with other members in person! We will meet at Church and Hayden to gather together as a group and march together with OPN banners, along with the AMAPCEO and ALOC groups.

1. Friday, June 26 – Toronto Trans March – rally at 7:00 PM, march at 8:00 PM. Meet at 7:00 PM a the northwest corner of Church and Hayden.
2. Saturday, June 27 – Toronto Dyke March – rally at 1:30 PM., march at 2:00 PM. Meet at 1:30 p.m. at the northwest corner of Church and Hayden
